John F. Hallman III is the founder of Chapman Hall Realtors. Having spent his entire 38 year career in Atlanta real estate, he has helped the industry evolve into what it is today. He introduced “discount brokerage” to Atlanta in 1989 and John Hallman Realtors remains the pre-eminent discount realtor in Georgia today. The formation of Chapman Hall Realtors continues his insight into innovative business models.
In addition to being a Life Member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club, he is a recipient of the coveted Phoenix Award, which is earned by only the top 1/10 of 1% of Realtors.
John was educated in the City of Atlanta and Fulton County public school systems, and graduated from the University of Georgia Business School with a BBA in Marketing.
John is a 4th generation member of the First Methodist Church in Atlanta. He has 2 grown children, John IV and Leigh, both of whom are real estate brokers. In addition to real estate, his hobbies include collecting antique furniture, researching old Atlanta, an occasional game of tennis or bridge, and relaxing on St. Simons Island on the Georgia coast.
